The Minnesota Hospital Association Patient Safety Committee is charged with improving and enhancing patient safety in all aspects of care delivery and strengthening public trust. The committee improves patient safety by developing and standardizing patient safety policies, developing tools for leadership, management, and staff, and providing a forum to share successful patient safety strategies. The committee collaborates with the Minnesota Alliance for Patient Safety (MAPS) and others. It serves as a conduit of patient safety information for all MHA member facilities and takes a leadership role with patient safety in the state.
