Allina labs find savings from recycling program for formalin and solvents

Four of Allina Health System's Twin Cities hospitals - Abbott Northwestern Hospital, Minneapolis; Mercy Hospital, Coon Rapids; United Hospital, St. Paul and Unity Hospital, Fridley - recently implemented a system-wide recycling process for the significant volume of alcohols, xylene/xylene substitutes and formalin that they use every day in laboratory operations.
